"The mountains and wildernesses of Britain are very special places. They are places to enjoy and places to be close to nature. They are places to push our limits and to get to know ourselves. There is a lifetime of experiences to be had by those willing to go and look for them."

I have a huge passion for the mountains of the UK and beyond and love to share my enthusiasm, skills and knowledge with people of all ages and abilities. I am a professional Summer Mountain Leader, Winter Mountain Leader and Rock Climbing Instructor which means that I am trained and assessed by the Mountain Training Association and qualified in all the activities that I provide.

For years I have walked and climbed and have developed a huge amount of experience in the mountains and crags of Snowdonia, The Lake District, The Peak District and Scotland. Their rugged beauty never fails to capture my imagination. Their history, geology and ecology always leaves me wanting more.

The mountains and crags can be intimidating for some, espescially if the weather is bad. As a Mountain Leader and Rock Climbing Instructor it is my job not only to look after your safety but to make sure that you have the very best day that you can. I have a great deal of experience working with all kinds of groups of all ages and abilities and will make sure that you are well looked after. And you can rest assured that you are in the hands of a passionate professional.

I run navigation training, guided mountain walking, challenge treks, rock climbing courses, abseiling and other activities. I will personally be your instructor for many of the activities but will sometimes use one of a personally selected group of qualified and experienced leaders.
